E-Cigarettes

Is there such a thing? Years ago, I learned that if you want to kick the habit of smoking, a medicated gum or a nicotine patch is the solution. I am surprised to know that out in the market today, Electronic Cigarrettes are such a hit. I've been browsing at some of the reviews to know what the pros and cons are. No tobacco, no tar. Will this thing really help people finally quit smoking? For all cigar aficionados, are you willing to give this a try? It may cost more than the cigars out in the market today but if this will help cure nicotine-addiction, I guess it will all be worth it.

Friday Fill-ins

It's FRIDAY once again... time to relax and do some Friday Fill-ins!

5. During the last year THE husband and I were busy preparing for his birthday celebration.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to work,work, and work, tomorrow my plans include preparing for the husband's birthday celebration in the evening and Sunday, I want to go to mass, have lunch with my family, and bring hubby out on date! It's his birthday!

Me and my BB...

 Blackberry phone, that is. I've had this phone since February but only got to learn all it's functions and application a month or so ago. It really isn't that complicated but I had no time then to tinker with its keys and features. Now, my BB is my companion and friend. I have fully learned to maximize all its features. Aside from the social media and networking sites installed, I also am loving the barcode scanner application I have downloaded. Like the Symbol LS2208, it just works the same. The only difference is that the gadget is tangible and what I have is installed on my phone. The scanner lets me scan barcodes of items I want and plan to buy, save or store it on my phone, and compare the prices. Works well when I do the groceries. My BB phone is love, love, love.

Smiley Saturday

Another round of Smiley Saturday for us. What made me smile today?

• Another work week had ended. It's time for me to relax.
• I get to spend the whole 2 days with my husband.
• "ME" time anywhere.
• Game time via the playstation 3 with the husband. 
• Food... food... food galore.
• Meeting my 50% target at work for this week.
• Leaving the office at exactly 6:00 AM which is very impossible for me to do.

As of 8:41 am, these are the things that made me smile today. I'm hoping for me smiles to come my way....

My role as a Quality Assurance Specialist

I am currently preparing a slide show which I have to present at work tonight. Aside from a Quality Analyst's function of auditing calls and coaching representatives, we also are to do admin tasks and prepare reports. One of which is this calibration report which we do every week. During calibration, we review calls, define objective criteria, and calculate standard deviation to assess the success of the calibration and standardization process. Team Managers, trainers, and quality assurance specialists for each line of business meet up every week to see if every one is compliant and well calibrated. This is just one of the several meetings I attend to in a given work week. Let me share with you my work busy calendar:

 Aside from this calendar, I also have details and other meetings neatly scribed in my work planner. Oohh, all that stress... I am coping because... I love what I am doing. Mind sharing your job, your function, and your busy work schedule?
